全球城市持续高速发展下，居住空间不断被压缩。香港这片寸金尺土之地，土地更是日益紧绌，逼使我们步向“纳米”年代。“纳米楼”现已非陌生的词语，在狭小的空间，港人已习惯挤入客厅、睡房、梳洗间和厨房。观望平均出售的单位呎吋，新兴小型售盘一般少于 200 平方呎的单位，比早前的“微型单位”（少于 350 平方呎左右）进一步缩小。

“Micro to Nano” is a spatial installation to highlight one of the latest urban phenomena in Hong Kong as one of the densest cities in the world – nano unit (<200 sq ft), which goes beyond the compactness of a micro unit (<350 sq ft). This installation is an abstract simulation of the smallest nano unit currently available on the market which is around 160 sq ft and incorporates a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

身处于这个发展趋势，“微型至纳米”以现存最小的 160 平方呎单位为蓝本，探讨香港未来居住环境的可能性。项目用上两吋乘两吋的立体模组，模拟最真实生活状况——没有多余地方、只剩实际需求的空间。我们希望借此反思发达城巿里，高效、生活质素以至基本居住条件的多重意义。
