Penthouse III : 黑暗且忧郁的公寓|Lawless & Meyerson_国外家居_室内设计联盟

澳大利亚的设计工作室Lawless & Meyerson与其长期合作的MHNDU在悉尼东郊现有的双层公寓进行了黑暗和忧郁的设计。他们的设计意图是“戏剧性的，但又是宜居的”，他们需要在一个国际客户和他的两个年轻女孩搬到这之前对公寓进行重新设计。该项目要求通过卓越的品质和精致的细节，将住宅提升到悉尼港的水平。 Australian design studio Lawless & Meyerson has created a dark and sombre design for an existing two-storey apartment in Sydney's eastern suburbs with its long-standing collaboration with MHNDU. Their intention was to be "dramatic but livable" and they needed to redesign the apartment before an international client and his two young girls moved in. The project calls for bringing the home to Sydney Harbour level through exceptional quality and exquisite detail.

这套五居室的公寓横跨两层，可欣赏180度的悉尼港景色。楼下有四间卧室、四间浴室和一间书房，而二层则设有起居空间、餐厅和厨房，延伸到露台上，旁边是化妆间、客房和套间、洗衣房和为孩子们准备的独立家庭活动室。

The five-bedroom apartment spans two levels and offers 180-degree views of Sydney Harbour. The lower level has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a study, while the second level features a living space, dining room and kitchen that extend out onto a terrace next to powder rooms, guest and ensuite rooms, laundry and a separate family room for the children.

The client wanted a tone similar to their previous all-black apartment, but with a more balanced contrast to lighter hues. The idea was to create a sexy and complex interior that allows light to penetrate on a sunny day, but also at night to see the dark harbour and flashing lights. Lawless & Meyerson therefore treated the house as a blank canvas, sculpting delicate interior hues through metallic paint, rich chocolate limestone and light grey wood, balancing light and shade as light for children and darkness for adults.
