英国设计师Jake Arnold，居住在美国洛杉矶，于2021年与他的好朋友兼合伙人Leo Seigal共同创立了一家名为The Expert的设计公司，不仅从事私人住宅的项目设计，还涉及到一些新型的商业空间以及个人设计师品牌的产品推出。British designer Jake Arnold, who lives in Los Angeles, USA, founded The Expert in 2021 with his good friend and partner Leo Seigal. The company is not only engaged in The design of private residential projects, but also involves some new commercial Spaces and The launch of personal designer brands.
Jake Arnold从童年开始就对室内设计产生了极高的兴趣，他热衷于布置自己的房间，并享受不同的空间布局。他擅长使用夸张的纹理和丰富的色调，因此他的作品总是在满足不同业主需求的同时，表现出大胆、精致、优雅且随性的风格。他喜欢从古玩店里寻找到个性鲜明或者独特的室内装饰物，给现代居所创造新旧之间的平衡感。
Jake Arnold has been interested in interior design since his childhood. He loves decorating his own rooms and enjoys different spatial layouts. He is good at using exaggerated textures and rich colors, so his works always show a bold, delicate, elegant and casual style while satisfying the needs of different owners. He likes to find distinctive or unique interior decorations in antique shops to create a balance between old and new in modern homes
作为职业的设计师，Jake Arnold会根据不同的客户进行有区别的设计，但不管怎样，在这个过程里，都保证每个项目所使用到的陈设物都是通过精心制作和挑选的。而他标志性的美学趣味无不体现于他的作品之中，他认为这样的设计本身更具有逻辑性和叙事结构。As a professional designer, Jake Arnold designs differently for different clients, but no matter what, in this process, he ensures that the furnishings used for each project are carefully crafted and selected. And his trademark aesthetic interest is all reflected in his works, he believes that such design itself is more logical and narrative structure.
Jake Arnold的室内设计总是让人感觉似乎是另一个时代，却又是有着存在的永恒性。他认为不管房子是什么风格，或客户个人品味如何，在设计中能够使空间满足居住的舒适感，适合人们的日常生活，便是设计最大的社会意义。Jake Arnold's interior design always feels like another era, yet has the permanence of existence. He believes that no matter what the style of the house is, or what the customer's personal taste is, the biggest social significance of design is to make the space meet the comfort of living and suit People's Daily life.
