Tecture architects was founded in Melbourne by founder Ben Robertson, and their passion and energy for the business is reflected in the positive responses and solutions to different projects. Every detail is treated with the basic principle of simplicity, and more importantly, in Ben Robertson's view, good design should be cost-effective and functional, making the work emotionally resonant in context.

Blade House

村落的惊喜

Blade House坐落于新南威尔士州的一个偏远山区，由Tecture设计。住宅克制的外立面形象凸显出混凝土结构的强度和原始触感，建筑师巧妙地利用场地资源和景观优势，使其与周遭的自然森林融为一体。

Located in a remote mountainous area of New South Wales, Blade House was designed by Tecture. The restrained facade of the house highlights the strength and raw touch of the concrete structure, which cleverly uses the site and landscape to blend in with the surrounding natural forest.

Tecture设计了一个具有“坚固”形象的住宅建筑，它既能抵御来自邻近公园丛林大火的威胁，同时可以创造引人注目的建筑表皮肌理。及至室内，坚固的混凝土墙作为主要材料，呈现“结构即装饰”的美感，延续了建筑的表现张力。

Tecture has designed a residential building with a "rugged" image that can withstand the threat of bushfires from the adjacent park while creating a striking building skin texture. As for the interior, the solid concrete walls, as the main material, present the aesthetic feeling of "structure is decoration" and continue the expressive tension of the building.

内外之间的流动

Nicholls Residence由Tecture为一户传统家庭所打造的住宅，该项目设计注入了当代与传统的元素，也充分尊重家庭适应未来生活的可能，确保以后新增家庭成员的实际需要而进行灵活性的空间调整。建筑师希望打造住宅内外之间的流动，在场地有限的情况下，使居住空间具有更丰富的可塑性。

Nicholls Residence was designed by Tecture for a traditional family. The design infuses contemporary and traditional elements, and fully respects the family's potential to adapt to future life, ensuring that the space can be flexibly adjusted to meet the actual needs of the new family members. The architects wanted to create a flow between the inside and outside of the house, making the living space more malleable given the limited space available.

室内由单一的木地板材料贯穿整个地面，无论家具的选择、照明的设计，还是艺术品的陈设，为住宅增添了不少个性，呈现丰富的视觉肌理。随着时间的推移，客户可以依据自己的喜好不断地自由替换和调整，一定程度上使空间具有时间的周期性和灵活性。Interior by a single wood flooring material throughout the whole ground, no matter the choice of furniture, lighting design, or artwork furnishings, add a lot of personality for the residence, showing a rich visual texture. With the passage of time, customers can be replaced and adjusted freely according to their own preferences, so that the space has the periodicity and flexibility of time to a certain extent.
