【展会简介】
被称为世界三大家具展览之一的米兰国际家具展，自1961年举办以来形成了米兰国际家具展、米兰国际灯具展、米兰国际家具半成品及配件展、卫星沙龙展等系列展览。随着这个名符其实的“展会系统”的完善，使意大利家具业屡屡打破纪录，它已连续多年成为世界上最大的家具和装饰产品出口国。几经风雨，米兰家具展已由一个普通的展览会变成了国际上一个令人神往的地方、是各品牌企业把产品投放市场而产生震撼的地方。现在，众所周知米兰国际家具展是全世界家具、配饰、灯具流行的风向，是现代家具时尚设计的前沿，不仅是向意大利出口家具的平台，更是全世界家具业界人士每年都热切期待的家具盛会。
米兰家具展均在每年的四月中旬举行，包括每年举办的居家家具展和装饰配套展，其中每两年一次的灯具展是按奇数年举办，而厨房家具展和办公家具展则逢偶数年举办。上届米兰国际家具展到会的专业买家达到了348，000名，其中意大利本土买家有155，621名，国外买家比本土买家多了4万多名，达到192，379名。共有2045家参展商，其中国际展商238家。自2006年米兰国际家具展搬迁到新的展览馆中举行后，展览规模也相应扩张，在建筑设计新潮展览馆，效果突出，引人注目，对于著名的米兰家具展这一重大变化，无疑给世界家具业带来了丰富的想象和对精彩的期待。
米兰国际家具展一般包括：
1、第49届意大利米兰国际家具展（1年1次）
2、第49届米兰国际家具半成品及配件展（1年1次）
3、第34届国际灯具展（Euroluce，奇数年举办）
4、第27届米兰国际办公家具展(Salone Ufficio，偶数年举办)
5、第28届国际装饰配套展览会（1年1次）
6、第18届米兰国际厨房卫浴家具展（Eurocucin，偶数年举办）
7、第12届国际青年明日之星沙龙展（Salone Satellite， 1年1次）
8、第10届“米兰设计周”（2000年开始同时举办）

Tutti a tavola!
The Five Senses and Conviviality
On the occasion of Eurocucina, the Milan Saloni present a multimedia event exploring the notion of Italian conviviality through a mosaic of sensations and emotions derived from the re-evocation of famous Renaissance banquets, film sequences, paintings, literary texts, theatrical performances, and well-known figures from the world of cooking, art, and culture.

A Celestial Bathroom
This year the International Bathroom Furniture Exhibition opens in Milan with an event devoted to the bathroom as seen through the beauty of the female form and the celestial vault. It runs from 14 th to 19th April at the Planetarium in Milan's Giardini Pubblici, close to the Villa Reale which is hosting Cosmit's other event, Tutti a tavola!, dedicated to the world of eating and cooking.

SaloneSatellite
Pioneer in the focusing the world's attention on young designers under 35, the SaloneSatellite presents a new formula for creating more targeted contacts between designers and exhibitors at the Saloni.

FTK - Technology For The Kitchen
Eurocucina, the International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition, appear again in tandem with its collateral event FTK (Technology For the Kitchen), a platform for evolution and revolution in the technology of built-in electrical appliances and cooker hoods, and an event that in only four editions has become established as the sectoral benchmark and showcase par excellence for research, in line with the common denominator of all the Saloni events

Yesterday's homes, today's design

The Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Casa Boschi di Stefano, Villa Necchi Campiglio and the Museo Poldi Pezzoli are proud to present, in collaboration with Cosmit and the Culture Council of Milan, the exhibition Unexpected Guests. Yesterday's homes, today's design. From 11 March to 2 May 2010, objects of contemporary design will be installed in the spaces of Milan's four historic house museums, complementing and contrasting with the existing architecture, paintings and decorative arts.

The Hand of the Designer

Saturday, 10th April, 2010 will see the opening to the public of ''The Hand of the Designer'' an exhibition organised by FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the Italian National Trust) and alterstudio partners. On show will be more than 450 signed drawings and sketches by more than 150 of the most renowned Italian and international designers, which they have kindly donated to FAI.

The Saloni 2010 is devoting a forum event to the theme of the Office, in which visitors to the trade fair will be involved. This promotional vehicle for the 2011 edition of SaloneUfficio, which will be held in the exhibition centre at the Milan Fairgrounds in Rho, will provide an opportunity for reflection, research studies and ideas for an innovative take on the workspace
